“You won’t really need it, but it’s fine if you do, “said his uncle. Daniel looked at it confused; it was really just a pair of cool glasses. He put it in his backpack anyway. He wore it for the whole day at school and he got lots of compliments from his friends and classmates.
They would say, “Nice glasses!” or, “Cool! Where did you get them from?” He didn’t really mind at all until he was in class having a test.
Answers would pop up all over his paper, he was so confused he looked around if anyone was seeing this too. No one, well of course because it’s test time right now. He looked at his paper for a second and took off his glasses. And all the answers on the paper disappeared. He put it back on and off to make sure he is not dreaming.
He put on the glasses on and again and copied it on the test paper. He looked around again; nobody was done yet. He stood up and handed it in, everybody was gasping and staring at him. He knew it, being the first one to hand in a hard test meant that he is either fast and smart or most likely going to fail it.
Daniel then realized it was because of the glasses. Not only did it make his eyesight worse, but he was also learning nothing. Every time his classmates or friends ask him about the quiz or test, he doesn’t know at all and it made many suspicious of him. So then, he decided to put away the glasses for good.
