Flowers bloom, seeds sprout
Bees are buzzing all around
Pollen allergies
Spring is the happiest season for almost everyone—and I agree, partially. Spring is the time when I must practice for the Spring Play (and perform it, which is even worse). I also must deal with a period where none of my grandparents are at our house, which means I have to say goodbye to noodles, dumplings, and delicious Chinese cuisine, and gloomily greet oatmeal and cereal. On top of that, my allergies peak during Spring, which means I must carry a tissue everywhere and deal with looks from classmates when I go to blow my nose. However, I love taking care of our garden, watering the flowers and fertilizing our bean plants. I also celebrate the last days of the school year with my classmates, joyfully and sometimes tearfully as well.
Hot, humid weather
Sweltering days at the beach
Water guns and fun
Now we get to the better part! Summer is the time when USA Swimming hosts more competitions than usual, which has a good part and a bad part: The good part is that I can get more personal bests and hang out with my friends, but the bad part is that I must practice more. I also do summer camps, where there are good ones and bad ones (of course, Letterly is one of the better ones). We sometimes travel back to China, too.
Golden leaves from trees
Blanket dirt in a warm hue
The flowers die, too
I go to school for the first time in what feels like ages (because of the summer camps), and our garden withers and dies. Oh, and the yellow leaves, although our trees shed brown ones.
Soggy, rainy days
Freezing, windy nights
The snow yearns for play
Finally, my favorite season! I get to swim in the cold (don’t ask why, I just like it) and travel to Lake Tahoe for some skiing. The days are short, and the nights long, but it forces you to have lots of fun in the day, which you do!
