You’ve brought me joy in my most dreadful times,
Light in my darkest days.
My best memories,
Companions,
And so much more,
Made from moments shared with you.
Win or lose,
Try and fail,
No matter the outcome,
I will always grow.
Support, love, and respect,
You’ve endlessly shown me each.
Thank you so much,

Dearly beloved,
You have my heart,
Friends are forever and nothing less.
“Forever’s a long time,”
Or so it may seem,
Forever, I’ll wait.
Forever, I’ll stay.
Forever, I’ll love.
There for me,
Supporting me,
Always,
Through thick in thin.
Friends are there,
No matter what.

Do we share a point of view;
Seeing me the way I see you?
Listening to music on repeat;
Recalling the ways we always meet.
Moments shared with only us;
Secret things only we discuss.
Late night talks on a screen,
Being present in the scene.
Time goes by without a pause,
Doing it all for mere applause.
Solely friends, nothing more;
Only friends behind the stage door.
For now goodbye,
‘Till we meet again.
Forever I’ll wait,
As only friends.
