Once upon a time, there was a little Chinese water dragon named Alya. She was the last living water dragon in the water. She was determined to find something called the stick of life. Legend says that the stick of life could control life and death. It could make the dead come back to life and living ones die. So, Alya wanted to find it to make her family and all the other water dragons come back.

Although that may sound super awesome, the stick of life was broken into pieces millions of years ago, when there was a war between dragons and pegasus, witches and fairies and demons and immortals. Each of them broke down a piece of the stick of life for themselves. At last, there was one piece in all eight territories, which is why Alya needs to find all of them.

It was a rainy day, and Alya was lying on her bed. She had been living in a palace for orphans like her. The palace had lots of witches, fairies, pegasus, dragons, demons and immortals. Although it might sound weird, everyone in the world has two of themselves. Alya, for example, was both a dragon and a fairy. Everyone in this world can also live forever.

The palace here is also a magic school that teaches stuff. Ms. Ghost, the demon teacher, teaches fire although Alya had been so good at it that she learned how to control death. It was a windy day when [she] was bored and went to the school library. She found a secret tunnel that leads to a room with sorcery (sorcery — ancient spells). She learned in just a few minutes. It was Alya’s first year of magic school. Now let’s get back to the story.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. “Come in,” said Alya. A fairy wearing green skirt walked in. She had wings that looked like crystals. “What is it, Luna?” asked Alya.

Luna is Alya’s best friend and roommate. They had always sticked together. Also, there’s a big coincidence, Alya was born on June 6, Luna was also born on June 6. Alya is 11 years old, and Luna is also 11 years old.

“There was a pancake fight today, and like always, Arunie got the most,” sighed Luna. Arunie is the strongest one in their whole grade. They were all in 5th grade of magic school or OSPS. OSPS standing for Orphanage Special Public School. There are 6 total grades in OSPS:

• Grade 1: Sparkle

• Grade 2: Bloom

• Grade 3: Soar

• Grade 4: Fantasy

• Grade 5: Reform

• And finally Grade 6: Spiritual
