Europe is in danger from a heatwave, but it’s not just any ordinary heatwave. It’s an extremely dangerous heatwave! This heatwave is disturbing people’s education, careers, transportation, and daily life. It’s not only that though. In Italy, five people have died from the heatwave in just a week. In France, 40 people have died and many died from swimming in unsupervised areas. Furthermore, some people even had power outages from this heatwave. These show how dangerous and severe this heatwave is. It is definitely an annoying and dangerous heatwave for the European people.

The heatwave in Europe has already killed thousands of people. To be more precise, 1,300 deaths. People either died from heat for example, working, standing, or living on the streets in the extreme heat, or they were swimming in unsupervised areas because they were probably too hot or there was just nowhere else to swim. The temperature everyday was always around the high 30’s or the lower 40’s Celsius.

According to the undefined, Western Europe has the hottest June temperature recording, which was 36.4 degrees Celsius (97.5 degrees Fahrenheit). This heatwave is the worst ever, “the most severe and widespread ever,” declared undefined. This heatwave is so intense that the Western Europe temperature, which is the hottest June recording, is also the hottest globally.

The European heatwave is estimated to end on July 14, which may sound quick, but a lot of damage can be done in that short period of time. Heatwaves have become more frequent and happens almost everywhere around the world. These unpredictable heatwaves which happen a lot, can unexpectedly kill thousands of people in such a short period of time.
