In times of war, destruction reigns,

As bombs fall and fires blaze.

The question always comes to mind,

Why must we fight and leave life behind?

Bullets fly and lives are lost,

The price of war is far too high a cost.

We wonder why it had to end this way,

When we could have chosen peace and found a better way.
