After Robert Frost’s “Nothing Gold Can Stay”
Life is a night and day,
Passes quickly and cannot stay.
The flower that was so splendid,
At a moment’s notice, descended.
And as the globe continues to tilt,
The flower continues to wilt.
The time has already passed,
This night shall be my last.
Note: I’m trying to imitate Robert Frost’s poem Nothing Gold Can Stay.
