In the night, a ship took flight,
Through the star-filled space, a beautiful sight.
“Prepare for the warp,” the captain cried,
The metal of the ship groaned and sighed.
And with a shudder, they slipped through time,
Passing through realms, in space they climb.
They found a planet, a Christmas delight,
And from the ship they did alight.
Twinkling lights filled every tree,
As laughter and joy set the crew running free.
In this winter wonderland, spirits did fly,
Up up away, in the night sky.
