Once upon a time, on a faraway planet named Bill, there was a kingdom called The Kingdom of Bill. The year was 6969, and something had just happened. One of the king’s chefs, Bill 3.3428, and the king’s knight general, Bill 3.0, were plotting to kill the king.
“What’s the plan, boss?” Bill 3.3428 asked.
“You put some scorpion poison in the king’s steak, and I’ll do the rest.” Bill 3.0 replied with an evil grin. A few hours later, when the steak went into Bill 3.3428’s hands for seasoning, he added a few drops of fatal scorpion poison. From the shadows, Bill 3.1, the king’s bodyguard, lurked, watching. He immediately went to warn the king, but suddenly the knight general appeared in front of him.
“Where you going, pal?” Bill 3.0 mocked Bill 3.1 with an evil laugh.
“I-I-I’m j-j-j-just warning t-the k-k-king about the-the chef B-Bill 3.3428 p-p-putting p-p-poison in the kings f-food.” Bill 3.1 nervously stammered.
“Why would you think that?” Bill 3.0 asks.
“Because I saw the chef, Bill 3.3428, put poison into the king’s food.” Within a minute, the king’s guards come running into the hallway, shouting that the king is dead.
“You’re the one who put poison in his food, or how else would you know that the king was going to die? You’re only acting like you’re trying to protect the king by making yourself look innocent. Well, into the slammer for you!” Bill 3.0
Bill 3.1 tries to escape and screams, “It’s true! Bill 3.3428 is trying to kill the king!”
Bill 3.0 casts a silencing and paralyzing spell on Bill 3.1 and drags him by his wrists into the slammer. The king’s guards follow, swearing and yelling insults.
When Bill 3.0 finally threw Bill 3.1 into the slammer, he undid the paralyzing spell, and then he walked away and left Bill 3.1 alone in the dark. When Bill 3.0 got back, everyone in the palace was asking him what had happened.
“What happened to the king?” A peasant asked.
“Who killed him?” Another farmer shouted.
“What are we going to do now?” a soldier whispered.
Bill 3.0 completely ignored them and walked past them. He went on to meet the king’s son, Bill 1.0. Bill 1.0 immediately asked Bill 3.0 what happened to his dad.
“Well, one of your father’s bodyguards accused the chef of putting poison in your father’s food. Your father died, and it was clearly the bodyguard because how else would that bodyguard know he was about to die? He had to be the one, so he was put into the slammer. We must end that traitor and all who follow him.”
Days passed without further news about who killed the king. That’s when the prince suggested that they reach out to the king’s secret royal wizard, Bill 1.5. News of the secret royal wizard and how they used him to uncover the truth spread throughout the kingdom. When Bill 3.3428 heard, he immediately panicked, and he said to himself, “What the h-e-double hockey sticks will I do?”
He thought and thought, and finally he had the answer . “I know! I’m going to change my name.” Then he ran into another problem. What would he change his name to? Bill 3.3428 thought for some time and finally had an idea. Bill 3.3428 was going to become Bill 5.675.
Meanwhile, in the castle, Bill 1.5 grabbed his crystal ball to look back into the past. Somehow, it was Bill 4.0 that was seen plotting to murder the king. He was going to be beheaded for murdering the king.
“I’m innocent! I was next to the king this whole time! I did nothing! I never even touched the steak! Please!” Bill 4.0 pleaded, but the prince wouldn’t budge.
Sometime later. in one of the poorest villages in the kingdom, Bill 5.675 was working his butt off in the fields. He wished that he still had an easy life as the king’s chef. He was about to return to the old life he wished for.
“Bill 5.675, I heard you changed your name and moved out to the field.” The royal wizard appeared and said.
“Yes, why are you here, and how did you find me?” Bill 5.675 responded.
“I double checked and looked back at my crystal ball and saw it was you that killed the king, not the other guy you framed. You will be punished.” With a snap of the royal wizard’s fingers, he and Bill 5.675 were transported to the dungeon.
On trial, Bill 5.675 was found guilty and sentenced to 1,000 years in prison, but because he ratted out the knight general, he was only locked in there for 699 years. The knight general was locked in there for 2 billion years. Not a day goes by that he doesn’t regret working with the knight general and killing the king; he wishes he could return as his chef.
