The winter of 2022-2023 has been a great roller coaster for me because I live in the mountains and this year, we got a record breaking 700 inches of snowfall! With all this snow there were obviously a lot of events that happened during the winter.
The insane amounts of snow in the winter brought many different dangerous hazards. In the winter there were many propane tank explosions that caused many injuries across my town. But thankfully, there were no deaths. These propane tank explosions happened after they had too much pressure on them from the snow.
There was also a lot of ice this winter, especially on the roads, and one day when my family was heading up to the mountain, a car slid out and hit us. The car was unable to be repaired but everyone was okay. Me and my brother and sister rode a bus up to the mountain, then back down and my parents met us at the bottom after getting driven down in a police car (my parents called 911).
