I have a teacher who is extremely amiable and always patient. My teacher thinks that I am coachable, so he gives me lots of resources. The resources include books, essay outlines, and math work and textbooks. He gives me challenging problems to take on, like reading comprehension. He also teaches me things that my school doesn’t teach in 4th grade, like angles and how to write essay outlines. He is also a really funny teacher; he laughs at the jokes I make. He also makes me laugh with the funny remarks he usually says.

My teacher makes sure I learn things well. Whenever I make a mistake, he always asks why I chose that answer. After a lesson, he usually sends out reports on what I did well and what I can improve. When I don’t know a word’s meaning, he and I usually find a way to break the word down so I can see which part can make me understand if the word is “good, bad, or neutral.” If I still don’t get it, he’ll give me some other choices to choose from.

In addition to teaching me, he also energizes me. When I sometimes have a bad day, he has a strong attitude to bring me back up. My teacher never appears tired. He is like a dolphin, active and full of energy. My teacher knows what can make him upbeat: sleeping and drinking coffee.

Do you know who he is? His name is Mr. Theo.
