One day,

In preschool,

I was being bullied

A girl saw this

And spoke to the boy

“You’re dumb!”

She said.

I added,

“Yea!”

It was this silly conversation,

That started our friendship

From then on,

We became friends

We hung out together

And played together

Our parents also

Got to know each other.

Soon,

We were going to,

Each other’s houses.

Everyday

We went to school

And hung out together.

As we grew up

We became

Complete opposites.

We had many fights

And shed many tears

But we forgave each other,

And moved on.

Over time,

We had our own friend groups,

And we didn’t talk often.

One day,

She joined me.

And soon

She was in our friend group

She is still my bestie.

Even though,

We’re complete opposites.
