Dear future self,

Right now, as I sit at my desk and write this to you, I can’t help but think about all the possibilities that lie in the future: becoming successful or failing high school. I continue to remind you to stay focused and not get distracted. No matter what distractions or challenges you face, make sure to remember your goals.

As the school year begins, I am very nervous. I do not know anyone there. I have no idea of the academic rigor.

Navigating through school is difficult. From hanging out with different groups to deciding where to sit, every decision carries weight into the future. I hope that you have walked this path well.

Right now, who will support you for years on. Right now, my hobbies are rocketry and exploring AI technology. I hope that you have continued with those hobbies with passion.

No matter what ends up happening, I hope you remember what your dreams are and how far you’ve come. Make sure to keep believing in yourself and continue to put in effort for everything you do.
