After all these years, the popular Saturday night show is returning for a fourth series next year, with an all-new Gladiators Celebrity Special! According to CBBC, “The game show which puts competitors against the mighty Gladiators is returning to Sheffield Arena with even tougher challenges.” The anticipation of Bradley and Barney Walsh returning as partners is high.

According to CBBC, “Fans will also see a return of the classic challenges such as Duel, Hang Tough and the Eliminator. Last year’s additions – Everest, Destruction and Suspension Bridge – will also be coming back after making an impact on the show.” Coming as big news for fans, there will be a new event that is not revealed yet.

Four new celebrities will also be entering the arena and facing the Gladiators. According to Kalpna Patel‑Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, she says: “With a brand‑new series confirmed and another Celebrity Special on the way, audiences can look forward to even more colossal clashes, even more edge of your seat excitement and plenty of opportunities to raise those foam fingers high once again.”
