The terror of the past
In the year of 1963
The protestors are almost at the grand finish line of their big mission
Thousands of protestors
Spread freedom to the villages
Cities, roads, highways,
And, most importantly, people.
In the 1950s
America was an unfair place.
Freedom and rights were not equal
Like some not sleeping and working for the whites.
Whites got to roam the streets
Doing whatever they wanted
Eating expensive food
Getting any services they wanted.
Blacks had to work
Work tirelessly, day and night
They could not even sleep properly.
They could not get the services they wanted.
Now, after 1963, freedom is equal.
Freedom is given to Blacks.
Freedom is given to whites.
Freedom is given to everyone.
Freedom is given to America.
