In a sad and dark forest, a gray vast cloud was like a huge carpet, covered the land. and It was raining cats and dogs. Robert Bruce, the King of Scotland, was sitting on a cold rock thinking about if he should give up hope or not. He was exhausted, not only in his body muscles, but also in his mind. This was the sixth defeat of his army, and his men had all scattered away, not wanting to battle anymore.
Just as Bruce was about to fall asleep, a poor, homeless cat appeared. It was trying to eat a dead rat, but it was inside a cave. The cat was too scared to go in. Then, the cat saw Bruce was staring at it. So, it ran to Bruce and meowed at him first and then to the cave. It seemed like the cat wanted help from Bruce. Seeing this, Bruce slowly got up, walked into the cave, and kindly put the rat in front of the cat. and He patted the cat’s head. While observing the cat’s action, suddenly, Bruce had an idea.
He quickly stood up and ran to the nearby country which was not too far from his. After arriving, Bruce and the king of the nearby country communicated deeply about the enemy that Bruce was facing. “What should we do?” Bruce said. They discussed how maybe the nearby country would also have to face the enemy in the future. So, they agreed to cooperate and made a plan to capture the enemy without killing them. Together, they fought their enemy and achieved victory with the least amount of people dead killed possible.
