Dog Man

I think Dog Man is a great book. It is awesome since it is very funny and has flip-o-rama. Flip-o-rama is magnificent because you can see the pictures “moving,” which makes the comic more real.

Dog Man is a cop who is part-dog, part-man and is a cop. He became part-dog, part-man during one mission when the cop and the dog were trying to catch Petey the Evil Cat. Petey put a bomb in front of them, and they had to defuse it.

The cop asked the dog to cut the red wire or the green wire and the dog growled, which meant green, so the cop cut green. That was the wrong wire, making the bomb explode. They got taken to the hospital, and the dog’s body was badly injured. The cops head was also injured. The nurse had the idea to sew the dog’s head on the cop’s body, making Dog Man, the ultimate cop!

I like this book since it brings a lot of happiness and joy because it is funny and hilarious. I would recommend this book to people who like Captain Underpants, The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza, and InvestiGators.

In the book, on Dog Man’s first assignment, Petey tries to defeat him with a giant mechanical vacuum cleaner. Dog Man trickily leads the vacuum to the beach, where it sucks up too much water from the ocean and the bag where the stuff it sucks, exploded, sending Petey to jail.

The second chapter is about the Police Chief getting fired for failing to catch a criminal. Then, the evil mayor replaces him with a robot called “Robot-Chief”. Dog Man uses his dog senses to sniff out the problem, bamboozle the robot, expose the mayor’s plot, and restore the real Chief back to his office.

In chapter 3, Petey the Cat escapes jail and uses a special “Word Erase 2000” spray that he made, can completely erase all the text out of every book he sprays. He goes into his private plane and sprays every book in the world. Without reading material, the entire population of the city grows incredibly dumb overnight.

The final chapter is about Petey using a “Living Spray” to bring his lunch, which is a hot dog, to life. This watchful hot dog, named Julius, grows evil and builds a massive army of angry, rebellious hot dogs by using the “Living Spray” and the kitchen to take over the city.
