Earthquakes can sometimes be strong. Incredible earthquakes hit Venezuela. On June 30th, 2026, the earthquakes hit came immediately like a fist bumping into Venezuela. It became a dangerous event for Venezuela and . It caused many people to get hurt or die.
Venezuela was hit by two enormous earthquakes on Wednesday. Since 1900, these quakes became very more powerful and are very strong. The first one came with a magnitude of 7.2. In less than one minute (39 seconds), the second one came hit and it was even stronger than the first one. It had a magnitude of 7.5. The two came so close together at a shallow depth that made them even more powerful and dangerous. People that lived 100 miles (160km) away also felt it.
Venezuela has stuggled for many years. They do not have enough money in order to keep public services going or build the buildings again. They were 13 hospitals that were destroyed and there is at least one hospital that does not have running water. The UNICEF (The United Nations aid agency) says that there are 1.8 million people, including many children, who now need emergency aid to survive.
Venezuela needs help to build construct their buildings again. Please be very careful of if an earthquake happens that are coming all around the world. If this happens, please find a safe place to hide and to survive!
