I believe that President Trump has a reason to do this due to issues like the lack of jobs in the U.S. I think that he is concerned that with the population growing, more and more people, including the asylum-granted refugees, will be unemployed and suffer financial hardship. Moreover, with people coming from countries inflamed with poverty, Trump hopes to help stabilize the unbalanced economy by decreasing the immigration rate. This marks a turning point in the economic and political war that Trump is constantly being criticized about, especially on social media.
After reading this article, I thought more deeply about Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign. While many people believe that all immigrants should be accepted, I believe people should consider the increasing unemployment problems happening in the United States. I think that President Trump’s solution – limiting the number of refugees – is a perfect idea that can help solve this economic issue. It was also approved by most of the Supreme Court judges.
