The U.S. and Israel’s Peace Deal with Iran

The United States and Iran are seemingly coming to the end of the war. The U.S. and Iran are currently discussing about the peace deals, but it seems to be unclear if the peace deal will actually happen.

After around 6 weeks from the first bombing of Iran, a ceasefire was made on April 8. However, President Donald Trump and Israel still have made many attacks and violations against Iran. It is unclear whether or not the ceasefire will be effective due to countless threats and attacks.

Iran’s biggest advantage is having control over the Strait of Hormuz. Since nearly 20% of the entire world’s gas and fuel resources passes through the Strait of Hormuz, the gas prices worldwide have skyrocketed. The high prices have created tensions around the world.

Both sides of the peace deal have still remained in tension due to many disagreements of how the peace deal would work. U.S. President Donald Trump wants Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, but Iran’s government still wants to gain control over the Strait of Hormuz.

The peace deal was agreed to happen in two parts. The first part was to stop all the fighting between the U.S. and Israel with Iran. During the first part of the deal with Iran, The U.S. permitted Iran to not work with the nuclear weapons. The second part of the deal is yet to come in the next 30-60 days.

Although the peace deal was announced, details of the deal require discussion. Some people already think that President Donald Trump is making a mistake, and they think that the U.S. should take further power away from Iran.

The peace deal is very important to the war’s ending. If everything works out fine, it will be a great success. If the deal falls apart, the situation could become even more dangerous than it is currently.
