Updates on the War between Iran, Israel and the U.S.
Last week, the U.S. and Israel gave Iran a deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz. They have also reached a two-week-long ceasefire, helped by Pakistan. Israel, the U.S., and Iran were all trying to find peace and end the war, but the U.S. President rejected and raised tensions with attacks on the Strait of Hormuz, so the conflict over the Strait of Hormuz continues. The U.S. president wants all the resources that pass through the Strait of Hormuz, like oil and natural gas.
The U.S. president sees Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz as a bad thing because of how they have been fighting and their conflict with each other. Even Iran had peace plans, but the U.S. president isn’t happy with them because he didn’t get what he wanted.
These conflicts and wars often affect the citizens the most. So far, the U.S. and Israel have hit 30 universities in Iran, oil prices have gone up because Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz and about 20% of the world’s oil passes through there, Israel has also attacked 70% of Iran natural gas, making Iran angry and putting their anger on other nearby to so they attack nearby countries. One of the countries that Iran attacked was Pakistan, a nearby country like the others. They wanted peace so they wouldn’t get attacked anymore. Additionally, Pakistan requests a 45 day cease fire, but Iran rejects.
