My Reflection for Skiing

Skiing is a sport where you have two boards called skis. You would wear ski boots. And if necessary, you would have a ski pole to help. Then you would step on your skies with ski boots, get your poles and get ready to ski!

During skiing, you would go to a snowy mountain. You would ski downwards from the top to the bottom. On the way, you would have to do turns, stops and maybe even jumps.

Skiing is an enjoyable sport or hobby for me. I feel relaxed and excited because when I dash down the snowy mountain, it makes me feel incredible. One time, while skiing on a snowy mountain called Humphreys Peak, something scary happened. I was with my friend, Clara. Then suddenly, there was a rock in front of me. It was so close to me that I didn’t have enough time to avoid it. So I tripped over the rock and went into a middle split. Although I was in a middle split, I was still sliding down the mountain. Because Clara was right in front of me, I slid up to her and tripped her with my skis. She also fell into a middle split, and we were stuck together in the middle split while sliding down a mountain. we hit a big hill and flew for a little bit, about 20 centimeters. We landed in the snow and got stuck. It took us about half an hour to get out of the snow. It was a very exhausting day.

I first wanted to try skiing because lots of my classmates have skiing as a hobby. So then I decided to try because I might be able to find a new hobby, and turns out, I did find a new one.
