The Brave “Dog” Oliver

Peter had two friends in his class: Kevin and Jaden. They always went to school and came back home together. But there was a fierce dog on the only way between their school and home. They were all afraid of it.

One day, there was a newcomer in Peter’s class. His name was Oliver. Oliver’s face was very dirty, and his clothes were stained. Some students called him “The Dirty”, and they didn’t play with him.

One time, the lunch in the cafeteria was unpalatable, so Peter, Kevin, and Jaden wanted to buy some snacks at the convenience shop after school.

Peter, Kevin, and Jaden had endured hunger for three classes. Their stomach were grumbling all the time during classes. Even though they had eaten their chocolate bars, they were still very hungry. In math class, Peter imagined that the number “0” was a big pie. Finally, school was over. They rushed to the shop and bought three fried chicken legs. The tantalizing aroma of chicken legs filled the air, but it also lured the fierce dog. The dog barked and growled at them. They stepped back, and the dog forced them into a corner.

Suddenly, some “woof” sounds came from the other side. It was Oliver. He barked like an American Bully, scarier than the real dog. He glared at the dog and barked loudly. The dog was totally stunned. At last, it ran away.

“Thank you, Oliver,” Peter said. “You are so brave!” Peter bought another chicken leg and gave it to Oliver. In the end, Oliver, Peter, Kevin, and Jaden became friends and started playing together.
