The Mysterious Perfume Dream
I was in a deep tunnel. A really deep tunnel.
I didn’t know where I was going.
“Hellooooo,” I shouted. I heard a loud echo.
Owwwww, I bumped something heavy.
I couldn’t see where I was going.
I heard footsteps coming my way.
“GIVE IT BACK,” I heard a deep voice yell.
I ran forward because my instinct is always to run when faced with danger.
I saw a blurry vision of a girl with long, dark purple highlights run up the ladder and quickly hide behind the rock beside me.
A girl with equally long brown hair ran up to where I was.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“I’m confused, myself. I don’t even know where I am. I’m not from around here though, that’s for sure.”
“Have you seen a girl with purple hair?” she asked, clenching her fists.
My instincts told me that I couldn’t, I just couldn’t tell her that I knew where she was. I saw her purple head peep out from the rock.
Even though I didn’t know who was in the wrong, I followed my instincts.
“Helloooo, is she up there you weirdo?”
Oops, I had been thinking for too long.
I pretended to look around.
“No, she’s not, but I think I saw a girl with purple hair run that way.” I pointed to the left of the tunnel, where there were two routes leading somewhere into the deep, dark, area.
“Which one did she take? Do you know?” she asked fiercely.
I shivered. It was super cold.
“The right one?” I realized that came out like a question.
She rolled her eyes and disappeared into the right tunnel, going deeper and deeper.
“Thank you so much,” I heard a quiet voice say. I turned around, scared.
She stood up. She was tall and her purple hair reached her feet. She wore all black, like a ninja or a spy. Her face and arms had a lot of scratches, and there were tears in her eyes.
“You’re welcome?” Again, that came out wrong and sounded like a question.
“You saved me!” She wrapped her long arms around me.
“Who was that? And where am I?”
“That was my enemy, Crystalline. Our mom named her after some stupid crystal. And you’re in the realms. Also, why are you dressed like that?”
I looked down at my outfit. I was wearing my bright pink bunny pjs, the ones I wore in bed. I felt my face go red. I was also wearing my fluffy pink bunny slippers.
“Honestly, I have no idea why I’m in my pajamas. I don’t even know why I’m here. The last thing I remember doing was talking to my sister in my bedroom.”
“Ha ha, very funny. Sure,” she said. “Nobody goes to the realms and doesn’t know why. You must be here for a reason. Are you a spy? Are you trying to take it from me?” She narrows her eyes at me.
“No, of course not. I don’t know what you’re talking about. As I said, I don’t even know why I’m here.”
Suddenly, I heard loud footsteps coming toward us.
“Oh no, Crystalline must have told the others,” she gasped.
“Hide somewhere,” I said.
She quickly handed me a heavy bottle of what looked like perfume, but the extremely expensive type. It sparkled in the dark.
“Here, take it. Keep it safe. And no matter what you do, don’t let them take it. Please. Do it for me. I’ll find you later.” After saying that, she ran in the other direction.
