Note to Future Self
Dear future self,
Hi! How are you doing? I hope you’re doing well! Some advice I will give you is to never ever give up! Keep following your dreams and don’t let any obstacle stop you. Another piece of advice I will give you is to be yourself! You don’t need to try to fit in with other people because everyone’s different!
Some challenges I hope you’ve overcome by now are thinking things are too hard for yourself or thinking you’re not good enough. There is a quote “Everything seems impossible until it’s done”. If you have goals that you think are hard or that you’ll never be able to accomplish, you can think about that quote.
Some moments I hope I’ve experienced include a good seventh grade school year! I hope I got to spend lots of time with family and friends! I hope I had lots of fun at the school parties! I hope I had a good 7th grade graduation!
A goal I have for myself right now is to get better grades, especially in science. I hope I’ve gotten better at writing and I’ve improved on my writing skills, too.
I want to be a responsible, thoughtful, and brave person well before the time you read this letter. I want to be the kind of person who cares for others and is very kind. I also want to take more responsibility for my duties. I want to be more courageous and be able to overcome my challenges.
Some doubts I have are that my science tests may be hard, I may have lots of homework, and I may get tempted to do something I think is more fun, instead of first finishing my work. I plan to handle these doubts by making a routine in which I do my homework for a certain amount of time and then I get a break after, and the process continues.
I want to learn to be more grateful for the amazing things in my life and not complain that much. I want to include others and make others feel important!
