After the news of the defeat of Evan, the Magma emperor decided to meet Richard and duel him. Evan was one of the strongest soldiers in the Blizzard Emperor’s army. Richard did not know that he had become an emperor or that other emperors had wanted to either ally with him or wanted to hunt him down. For instance, Magma emperor, however, Richard was dead to his name. The Magma emperor was allied with Blizzard emperor, so the emperor wanted to take revenge on Richard.
Richard just graduated from school and continued to train his flame skills in the colosseum. Richard then went to the library to read about Blox Fruits. In one book he randomly opened, he had a huge secret to making almost any Blox Fruits stronger, awakening. To do awakening, you would need to get a huge mastery over the fruit until it almost takes no energy to perform. Then you would need to meet the teacher of fruit awakenings to awaken. Richard did not want to awaken his fruit yet because it would take too long to do so.
He went over to talk with the Blizzard emperor, who was welcoming him, saying, “Welcome back, Magma, nice to see you.”
“Ah, Blizzard, I came here to say that I will be raiding that blasted flame’s hometown.”
“Look, I’m not too sure you should raid that place; that kid’s got skill,” Blizzard replied.
The emperor rose, body drenched, but the water quickly evaporated. His eyes were now flaring with huge amounts of anger. He unleashed a quick burst of magma at Richard, but blocked the magma. Richard flew at the emperor and used flame engulfment. The fire was so hot it could make a volcano look puny. The emperor was now half-flaming and had taken some damage; however, he quickly healed. He did a barrage of punches in the air, creating magma fists. He then told the magma fists to charge at Richard. Richard tried to dodge, but the fists were like homing missiles, and they struck him in the back, and he flipped into the water.
Richard was so mad that he activated flame engulfment without realizing it and summoned the Blue Fireball of Destruction, charging it to maximum power. The emperor, on the other hand, held out a hand and summoned a magma shield. He then covered himself in magma armor, ready to face the impact. Richard was charging the fireball for way longer than usual, and blue fiery images of himself started to go into the fireball. The magma emperor got a little bit worried but told himself the impact would be easily blocked. Then Richard threw the fireball straight at the emperor without warning and exploded!
Both sides went flying backwards from where they came from. Richard got up to his feet first, and after a while, the emperor got up too. The magma shield and armor were dissolving while the emperor was panting heavily with a smoking body.
The Blizzard emperor soon appeared behind the Injured Emperor and scolded him, saying, ”I warned you not to raid, and you did.”
