Dear future self…
I hope all is going well over there for you, especially when it comes to school and swimming. I know, present me is not in the best situation…being a procrastinator and all. It did cause a lot of problems, didn’t it? I hope you found a way to overcome this habit! I also wish you to be doing well in your math and Spanish classes to be going well for you, because I’m suffering over here! Nevertheless, I’ll still try my best to catch up for you to have a better school life! Even though I’m no longer learning debate (I don’t know if you are resuming the lessons), due to my nervous breakdowns when doing it, I still hope you can become more confident and express your feelings and opinions! It doesn’t matter if you’re wrong, speak out!
Please don’t worry so much! You might be my future self, but you are still too young to wonder about problems you don’t have the power to control, such as your friends’ issues! Also, maybe write back if you decide to explore random wonders and questions, like whether “Gods” exist? Because right now, my head is hurting when I think about questions like this…I don’t think I really believe they exist for now. Most of all, I hope you are managing your friends well, such as balancing how kind or a little strict you treat them. I know that right now, I don’t really like hanging out with my friends anymore, and I’m pretty sure you’ll still feel like that by the end of the school year. I get that! You’re introverted and really hate talking to other people, but maybe at least try? Especially your best friend! She was always nice to you, and it would be pretty rude not to return the favor, right? Finally, this kind of contradicts my last hope, but I hope you didn’t attend the field trip this year…unless it is really, really fun, because I do hate hanging out with strangers.
I don’t have a clear vision of what fun activities I really want to achieve right now, except drawing, but I still hope you have achieved everything you have desired! In terms of art, I hope you have mastered more skills in animating, so you can be more confident in flexing them!
