At dawn, when light begins to rise,
Darkness lingers, wise and shy.
Day and night, they merge as one,
Each embracing the warming sun.
In time’s dance, they twist and twirl,
Like day and night, in an endless swirl.
Whispering secrets, for none to know,
Light and dark, they ebb and flow.
Life and death, in hand they stride,
Jointly they wander, side by side.
Together they travel, to lands askew,
To meet with light and dark anew.
For life’s not bound by time’s cruel hand,
But in the moments we take a stand.
So live, my friend, with heart ablaze,
Let every step ignite your days.
The fear of death, in shadows cast,
For joy is found in living fast.
For when we die, we’ll not be lost,
Forever intertwined.
