Poems
Trees
(Haiku)
Brown trunks with rough bark
Leaves as green as matcha tea
Branches sway in winds
Birds
(Haiku)
Chirping in the breeze
A variety of songs
Sounding heavenly
(Limerick)
There was once a bezoar
Who ate galore
And couldn’t walk
Or even talk
So he slept, until he could eat some more
Dumplings
(Free Verse)
Sweet and Savory
Chewy on both the inside and out
Dipped in vinegar or soy sauce
Gives me energy
And satisfies my tummy
Music
(Free Verse)
An instrument with beautiful melodies
That makes a story without words
That makes a world that isn’t real
That makes people happy and joyful
