Poem- Silence of the noise
Jessie Liang 6.26
In the reflections, of the owl’s eye
the glow of the moon cries
silver ribbons spill carelessly
onto the shadows of the night
While the raindrops whisper
weaving through the stories with its sisters
As it dances in the moon’s glove.
With another droplet, another tale
a new story, it would sail
leaving an unnoticed trail
in the wind
As the midnight coyote howls
with the blink of an owl
the night takes away the chirp of a bird
gone
Winged upon by a hummingbird
dawn stirred
taking the moon, rain’s soft words.
