Would you want to live on a different planet? Well If I were to choose to reside on earth or on a different planet, I would choose on earth. But why? The reason why is because people are accustomed to living on earth, so if you switch it would take a lot of effort and time to actually be able to adapt to the changes that would have to be made. Besides, it would take a long time to even get to a different planet. Similarly, if you moved to a different place such as Africa, the climate change would still happen to be pretty big. It might take days, weeks, and maybe even months, to get used to it because it is different weather and timezone. If going to a different place on earth is hard, then moving to a different planet would be very hard. Imagine how many supplies you would have to bring. Going there would have to use a lot of oxygen, food, water and a lot of equipment. Also the earth is (so far) the only planet that has life on it. This means that you would need to build a whole new civilization. Even a trip to Proxima Centauri (The closest star to earth) would take more than 4 light years! That is a lot. If you needed more supplies that would be a HUGE problem because, It would take years to come back and get the things needed. Besides, going back would take a lot more than a human’s life, so if you somehow got it and came back the person who needed it would have passed out a while ago. From my perspective, moving to a different star (Proxima Centauri) would take lives to get to and would not be worth it.
