Gymnast Simone Biles won her second Olympic medal on Thursday in Paris, France. With this win she is continuing to build her legacy as the most decorated gymnast of all time. She has performed so far in several events.

Biles performed the worlds hardest vault, known as the Yurchenko double pike, which no other woman has ever performed.

The New York Times explained how Biles struggled on her bar routine writing: “On the bars Simone Biles made a very big mistake, positioning herself incorrectly on a transition from the high bar to the low bar such that she had to bend her legs to avoid hitting the mat then do an extra swing to regain her rhythm, but that did not impact her on getting gold.”

On Beam she performed an extremely difficult full-twisting double back dismount.

Simone Biles fourth event was floor. Her routine included two skills that were named after her. The New York Times explained these two skills called “The Biles” as “a triple-twisting double back flip with her knees tucked to her chest and a half-twisting double back flip with her body straight.”
