“But I swear it was here!” Xan started to panic, trying to prove it to Daisy.
“Ok, ok you don’t have to be worried; I believe you, but the only problem is that how did this cave close up?”
Suddenly Xan felt something, it felt like a something was beeping in his pocket. He then pulled it out to realize it was his necklace, it was glowing and beeping. As he held the necklace forward, it started to be beeping louder.
Thinking, Daisy looked at Xan, saying “Uhm why is your necklace glowing? What’s happening?”
As Xan drew closer and closer to the mountain, the part where the cave was supposed to be broke, which lead to the cave that Xan was talking about. It was so dusty from all the rocks crumbling.
“Wow! How’d you do that Xan?!”
“I’m not sure, myself. This necklace just started beeping and I drew it near the cave.”
“Well that definitely had something to do with your necklace. These walls look hand carved.”
“Huh.”
“Look over here! It says something. ‘You need to run now, if you found yourself here, you’re not normal. You have a power hidden. Only few can enter.’”
“Wait what? Wait you have a power?!” Xan just thought that he was the one that made both Daisy and him come in and that Daisy didn’t have a power.
“Uhhh I don’t know maybe I do. But what does it mean to run?”
“Wait, I found something! It’s uh uh uh what is this?” Xan said holding a camera, to him it looked like a black box with buttons all around.
“WAIT! THAT’S A CAMERA!”
“What? What’s that.”
“Oh yeah you probably don’t know but this is a machine that uh records things like us talking right now. Or you could take pictures, like put what you see in the camera into it in paper.”
“Wait what?! I didn’t know about these cool machines!!!”
“Yeah, my family is the first person to get ones, but we are the only people who have it right now.”
Once again Xan felt like someone was keeping an eye on them, not only recording but watching as well.
(The camera was invented 1816, and right now it is 1888, when it was first sold.)
