With so many shades and variations

We are found all over the living world.

It’s no surprise

That most of us, the shades of green

Are named after something in nature

Forest green, pine green, seaweed green, moss green, fern green, sap green, jungle green.

The cool club.

Mother Earth favors us, it’s no secret.

We also house the brightest, most eye-catching colors.

Emerald green, jade green, cadmium green, dark shamrock, aquamarine…

Wait.

Aquamarine?

That’s literally blue.

It isn’t

The hex decimal is more of green.

Let me continue.

Neon green, sea green, dark mint green, aquarium seaweed, turquoise…

Wait.

Turquoise?

Don’t tell me that’s not blue.

It isn’t

The hex decimal is more of green.

Let me continue.

Spring green, Caribbean green, cool green, electric green, paradise green, poison green, teal…

Let me stop you right there.

Teal.

That is definitely not green.

There is no way.

Actually…

No. Stop.

I don’t want to listen to your petty explanations.

I quit.
