What makes a true star? Thomas Cruise Mapother, the famous American actor commonly known as Tom Cruise, puts his greatest efforts in every movie he is in, making him such a widely-loved star.
Cruise is such a committed actor — he has skydived, climbed the tallest building, hung on the side of a plane, delt with G-forces, held his breath for a long time, and climbed a 2,000-foot cliff. He did all of these stunts by himself. He even broke his ankle when he jumped between two buildings for the film “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” but was back running again after only 6 weeks. According to the Insider, “While Cruise was healing the broken ankle he sustained earlier in the “Fallout” production, he went and pulled off the most amazing stunt he’s done in his career so far … Cruise did this for real by executing the jump [skydives] 106 times over two weeks.”
But Cruise doesn’t share much about his interests and life. According to eonline.com, Cruise said, “When I’m promoting a film, I’m not going to get caught up in anything else, and that includes all my personal things.” Cruise doesn’t spend his time watching sport shows, or anything he is interested in – because he doesn’t have any interests. He is completely determined to do his work perfectly. And when you watch his movies, it always seems like this is the only movie he is starring in for his entire life, and he is doing the best that he can do. This clearly shows how dedicated Cruise is to his job.
