Scientists are finally finding out about the beginning of the universe. They found it by using the world’s largest particle collider. After a few upgrades, it can finally start uncovering if dark matter actually exists.

Even though many scientists believe in dark matter, it hasn’t been seen. They think that the collider can let them create dark matter. They said that if they can actually see and know exactly what dark matter is, they can understand the galaxy. They think that if they solve this puzzle, they can find out the answer to the universe.

Dark matter does not reflect or emit any light, making it nearly impossible to find, yet scientists theorize that about 27 percent of space is made of dark matter. They said it was because there was an invisible gravitational pull on visible objects in space. The particle collider is in Gevana, and they think it might be able to create dark matter. It is usually used for nuclear research. Scientists think they can use this collider to imitate the big bang and create a mini-universe.

This project started in 2008, and in the last three years, they have made it faster and bigger. In the beginning of the universe, nothing had mass, so scientists wondered how mass was created. Some scientists have a theory that some of the matter gave the items floating in space mass. This concept surprised scientists and the general public alike. People really want to know the answer.

High energy colliders are the most powerful thing that they can use, and they are very curious about the world. If their particle emits light, then it’s even less likely to be it. It can take up to four years to make a final discovery, and it will be a very hard project. It can take lifetimes to figure it out.
