A long time ago, there was an extremely tall watchtower. It watches over the Ash Forest, which was discovered in the 1980’s. There are many undiscovered animals living there that scientists wanted to see without entering the forest because it was very dangerous. That is why the watchtower was built. It was so tall it was the same level as airplanes! In fact, it was the tallest building in the world. This means when people flew the airplanes, they would have to watch out for this building.
The tower was designed and built by Grace Thompson. She was a very famous builder and also built the world’s biggest duck sculpture in Singapore, the largest shark tank in Los Angeles, and the deepest swimming pool in China. This tower was the hardest to build and took her and her workers 10 and a half years to complete. Grace’s family also holds the world record for the largest pizza made in history. Baking is one of Grace’s favorite hobbies, and she even won first place in a cooking contest when she was 14 years old.
One day, the president, George Rice decided to rebuild this famous tower because he thought that he should honor Grace Thompson again in her great building skills. The building was also getting old and was almost abandoned. Only scientists that needed to research about the animals in the Ash Forest would go in there.
George Rice hired 100 workers to rebuild the tower. These men worked as hard as they could; they never stopped, no matter what was in their way! The new watchtower was finally finished in the year 3078. The new watchtower was finished so late because of how long it took to get supplies, remodel the building, and there wasn’t as many workers working on the project as Grace Thompson had. In the end, the new president, George Rice XIV said, “it was definitely worth the wait. The new building is much better than it was when we took it down.”
After the grand opening, he said, “anyone can come into the watchtower, but be aware of the 1,002 flights of stairs you must climb to reach the top.” Everybody was so excited they screamed in joy and entered the watchtower really fast. They were all excited to see the exotic animals living in the Ash Forest, but when they finally reached the top of the tower, they were disappointed to find out that many of the animals were not visible to them because they were hibernating. They finally decided to exit the building, and although not many scientists still need to visit the tower, it is a famous landmark that is known around the entire world.
