Breakfast, a meal eaten in the morning, is the first of the day. Filled with eggs, sausages, milk,

and much more. It is known as the most important meal of the day.

Every breakfast, I wake up to just drink a glass of milk, nothing more than that one glass of

milk. Every breakfast, I would refuse to eat anything else.

During my trip to New York City, I did the exact same thing. Every breakfast, a glass of milk

despite the bacon, croissants, and eggs on the table. For 4 days straight, the only thing I ate

for breakfast was a glass of milk.

After the 4 days of my 2-week trip, I began to feel ill and had a sore throat. Every breakfast,

I would wake up uncomfortable and in pain. The rest of the trip was a very unenjoyable

experience due to me having little ability to talk and see all the amazing views.

Every breakfast, I woke up eating more than usual despite the sore throat. Every breakfast,

I realized how important that drinking more than a glass of milk was. I had missed out on

so many delicious meals. I started eating eggs, bacon, toast, and much more.

Throughout my trip, the once very enjoyable experience of breakfast was taken away due to

a minor issue. Breakfast is the meal that may seem so unimportant but could be the decider

of an individual’s health. It struck me that such a small thing could cause such a big problem.

Every breakfast, there is always things that we take advantage of without even realizing.

Every breakfast, there is always things that help build up what our life is now. Every

breakfast, I learn to be grateful and appreciate the little things.
