BTS-The popular K-Pop boy band announced through social media that they plan to take a break.
BTS released their first album in 2013. The band consists of 7 members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They write and sing their own songs that have inspired young generations over the years and become very popular. Last year, they got invited to the White House to send a message of anti-Asian hate crimes.
Two weeks ago, they announced that they are going to take a break. They are burnt out and think it’s hard to come up with good quality songs that people can relate to.
The entertainment company Hybe which manages BTS released the following statement: “To be clear, they are not on hiatus but will take time to explore some solo projects at this time and remain active in various different formats.” It is also mentioned that BTS plans to return after this break.
