In the story, Matilda’s family is lazy and greedy. However, Matilda is extremely smart and hardworking, unlike her parents. One day at school, she unexpectedly controls things from her mind and uses it to “fight” with the evil head of the school, Miss Trunchbull.

According to the article, the story will be similar to the original movie, with a few changes. For example, like the original, there will be some scenes from the movie like the chocolate cake disaster. In the chocolate cake punishment, a student was forced to eat an entire chocolate cake in front of the whole school.

As for the characters, Emma Thompson will play Miss Trunchbull. Alisha Weir will play Matilda, the main character, and last of all, Matilda’s kind teacher will be Lashana Lynch.

The new movie will be inspired by the Matilda Musical stage show, which won seven Olivier Awards, and 5 Tony Awards.

The musical will be available to watch on Netflix around December of 2022, and will be ready to blow your mind.
