Last Sunday, a man dressed as a lady in a wheelchair was videotaped throwing cake at the Mona Lisa. Shortly after, he was contained while shouting “think of the Earth! There are people who are destroying the Earth! Think about it. Artists tell you: think of the Earth. That’s why I did this”. Many videos were posted on the internet showing the guards taking the man away and someone clearing off the cake on the case. This is the 3rd time something has happened to the Mona Lisa.

During the 1910s, the Mona Lisa was stolen but found 2 years later. Later, in the 1950s the painting was damaged because of acid attacks so they put up protective glass. After the Mona Lisa was recovered her fame was greater than ever.
