In four years, 48 countries will vie for the 2026 World Cup including U.S, Canada, and Mexico.

Some of the host cities are Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Guadalajara, Mexico, Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Monterrey, Mexico, Mexico City, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami.

This would be the first time that the World Cup will have 48 teams. They usually have 32 teams. It’s also the first time that the tournament is staged across three nations. The U.S., Canada, and Mexico were selected as the winning bid, beating out Morocco. The last time the U.S hosted was in 1994 while Mexico hosted back in 1970 and 1986.

The majority of the U.S. arenas in contention regularly host NFL teams sometimes they can also be at MLS Squads. The Canadian stadiums host the Canadian Football League and MLS, while the arenas in Mexico will be in Mexico’s top soccer league, Liga MX.
