For Those Who Don’t Understand: In part one of The Spy, Alexander and Luna were sent out on a mission in Russia to stop whatever the Russian military was planning. After finding out their plan, they stop the threat, but set off an alarm by accident.

“WELL, WHY ARE WE STILL STANDING HERE?!” Alexander screamed.

“SHUT UP!” Luna shouted.

“THEY CAN’T EVEN HEAR US! THIS STUPID ALARM SOUNDS LIKE MY SNORING DAD!” Alexander shouted back.

“RUN!” Luna screamed.

So, they ran. As they turned the corner, they heard the back-up guards shouting.

“THEY’RE COMING!” Alexander exclaimed.

“I KNOW! WHY DO YOU THINK WE’RE RUNNING?!” Luna shouted over the alarm.

As they continued to run, the footsteps of the guard became louder as they came closer. Luna, being Luna, shot her grappling hook at one of the guard’s heads. It hit, spot on. As the first guard fell, Luna then shot a tranquilizer dart at the second guard when he was distracted by the sudden collapse of the first guard. He went down along with the first guard. Alexander glanced back at the two guards, and didn’t see the next turn ahead. It wasn’t until it was too late. He slammed right into the wall of the base. Luna sighed as Alexander stood up, who was still a bit startled by his very literal run-in with the wall. “Alex, if you keep this up, by the time we get out of here, you’d have either fainted or gotten caught by one of the guards. They won’t be down for long, SO GET UP AND RUN!” Luna exclaimed. Alexander, not wanting to have either of those tragedies occur to him, did as he was told. As soon as they exited, they found another problem awaiting them: military guards were waiting for them. Thankfully, there were only about five or six of them. “Uh-oh” said Alexander.

Alexander reconsidered his decisions on coming on this mission. He had learned how to handle these situations, but he was still not very adept with weapons. When he was five years old, his father had attempted to teach him how to use a gun. Emphasis on attempted. Instead, he had shot his father in the leg, which sent his father to the hospital. Alexander had shattered his fathers shin, leaving his father on crutches for a couple months. Surprisingly, his father barely showed any emotion except for anger. He had scolded Alexander, not for shooting him, but for having such a bad aim. As he was thinking about this, Luna had already taken all the guards out. “Gee, thanks for all the help,” Luna commented sarcastically. Alexander snapped back to attention. “ Oh, um. Yes. Of course.” Alexander said.

“I was being sarcastic, stupid.” Luna said. Alexander could already feel his ears turning red.

“Oh. Um. Right. I knew that” Alexander responded. Luna sighed, then stepped into the forest. As they headed towards their jet parked in the private airline’s helicopter pad, Alexander wondered how she had taken all the guards out. Darts wouldn’t have worked very well because the soldiers were covered head to toe in military grade armor. As if Luna sensed Alexander’s questions, she responded with: “Don’t even think about it. It’s a family secret.” Alexander was at first surprised, then curious. Luna hadn’t said anything about being from a family of spies when they had talked during “socializing time.” “Wait, you also come from a family of spies?!” Alexander exclaimed.

“Well, how do you think I know all the things I know?” Luna questioned. Alexander realized she had a point. Then, he finally noticed where they were heading to. “Wait. Why are we going to the helicopter?” Alexander asked. Luna rolled her eyes. She then proceeded to take out her phone (non-trackable, specially designed by the CIA) and showed him the message they had gotten, alerting them about the mission. At the very bottom of the message, it said: ‘FYI, You will get the details for the next mission after you complete your first.’ Then, she brought up the newest one she had on her phone. It said: Mission Bedbug: Travel to China and go undercover for six weeks until you figure out what their leader is planning. “Oh nuts,” Alexander said. “That can’t be good.”
