British number three Norrie started battling Jarry, but Jarry fought back. Another player, Sonay, lost to Anastaisa.

On the other hand, British player number one Emma’s Wimbledon journey came to an end on Friday. She was beaten by world number one Aryna.

Back on Norrie, he is currently ranked 61st in the world! But now, he was getting to the closer of the semi-finals once again, following his last advancement to the final four in 2022.

But, he will first get over a challenge. Hope for British success will extend in the doubles and wheelchair tournaments.
