16 and 17-year-olds can vote in the next UK election
In the next election in the UK, 16 and 17-year-olds will be able to vote. increase the amount of votes and would make voting more interesting. Some adults sometimes make bad choices but younger people usually don’t.

The Reform UK says that it doesn’t support the voting age being lowered. However, the Liberal Democrats think the change is good. About the people, some people think that young people don’t have enough life experience. However, some people think this is a good idea to let more people have a chance to vote. “A young person can work, they pay taxes, they can join the army,” the minister for democracy, Rushanara Ali, said. “There’s no reason why, from that age, they shouldn’t have a say in who governs our country.” And also, the government thinks that 16 and 17-year-olds have enough life experience to vote.
