The EPA wants to change a major climate decision right now. The Environmental Protection Agency, also known as the EPA, wants to change a decision made in 2009. This decision said that climate change is dangerous. The EPA wants to change that to say climate change isn’t dangerous. If the plan works, it will be hard to make laws for pollution and global warming. The EPA works for the government, and it’s their job to take care of the environment. The EPA can do this because of the Clean Air Act, which is a law passed by Congress.

Since people started to burn fossil fuels, the heat has gone up by 1.2 degrees Celsius. Fossil fuels cause greenhouse gases which makes the world warmer. Also, this causes Antarctica to melt. It also causes heat waves, droughts, and wild fires. The 2009 finding was very important. It made America safe and taught people about pollution. If this law gets confirmed, lots of rules made will probably change. Even if it does, people should continue helping the environment even if it is true.
