Coming Soon: Fifth Toy story in 2026
You might have heard of the classic “Toy Story” released decades ago. With 30 years of Toy Story inactivity, Pixar would plan to will release a new Toy Story, which is all about modern technology, in 2026.
The first piece of evidence of Toy Story 5 was from Bob Iger, who claimed it would be released much earlier: around 2023, with no defined date.
In the next release, Lily Pad, which is a computer tablet, secretly converts from the attention of toys to the attention of digital life for Bonnie. The tablet plays a rule of keeping all of Bonnie’s toys, as stated by Pete Docter, in the original words, “Lily can also be a bit sneaky and prickly to be around. And because, in her mind, it’s a lot better to be socialized, and Bonnie needs to move on from toys.” (Koimoi.com Team 6)
There has also been a rumor that in the opening scene of the movie, that the start scene starts with Buzz Lightyear on the seaside with other dolls saying the pledge of allegiance to him. (Koimoi.com Team 6)
For the voice cast, for existing characters, there will be no change in voice actors, but new voices will also be added: Conan O’Brien will become the voice of Smarty Pants, a new character, and Combat Carl, also a new character, will have Ernie Hudson’s voice.
Toy Story, which will be released next year, will be arguably a blend of old and new technologies, including toys meeting up with a computer tablet.
