Toy Story 5 has a new character
Pixar just announced Toy Story 5, and have shared that the film will feature a new character, Lilypad. Lilypad is a bad character, and wants all the attention from the toys’ new owner, Bonnie.
Lilypad is a bad tablet up to no good in the film, and most may think she is a villain. The plot of the new film is to get Bonnie’s attention before Lilypad steals it! Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and the other toys’ jobs will become harder as they try more to stop the evil Lilypad.
Toy Story was the first fully computer animated movie. It was first made by Pixar. The initial movie was inspired from an old movie called Tin Toy, also featuring a toy coming to life. The “Toy Story” stories were made in the years 1995, 1999, 2010, 2019, and the 2026 for upcoming film number 5.
The creators of Toy Story 5 seem to want to use this film to exhibit little kids suddenly switching from playing with dolls to iPads and electronics. Kids these days seem to prefer technology instead of the classic, physical toys they once loved.
Producers will include writer and director of Toy Story 5, Andrew Staton, and co-director, McKenna Harris. The voice actors in this new movie are Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Erinie Hudson as the new Combat Carl, Tony Hale as Forky, Conon O’ Brian as Smarty Pants, and Blake Clark as Slinky Dog. Ana Faris will also star, but her character is not known.
One person stated about the new film: “I want it to be good so badly, but I wonder how worthy of a sequel the fifth one can be.”
In a nutshell, Toy Story 5 will feature a new, thought-provoking, character.
