TikTokers have started to use Calamine Lotion, a pink

cream as primer for their makeup in what, they are calling a

makeup hack. They say it’ll keep your skin smooth. Doctors

don’t agree with the Tiktokers at all, instead saying it’s bad for

your skin.

Originally, Calamine Lotion has been for kids that have

suffered from chicken pox- not for putting on before applying

makeup. Hammett stressed: “You should be using makeup that

is suitable for your skin type,” including primers and

moisturizers. At a minimum, she said, don’t use it daily.

A [TikToker] likes using the Calamine Lotion she said when

you take of the makeup then your skin will be

smooth after putting on the Calamine Lotion. But doctors say if

you keep putting the Calamine Lotion on then your skin will

probably be bad and not smooth. But TikTokers refuse to listen,

continuing to put it on.
