Last summer in the Texas heat I felt like I would melt

Inside is where I dwelt

This year I am lucky we have a pool

Oh man, I don’t want to go back to school

I am glad that I don’t have to do any work

These kinds of things make me jerk

Summer is the season with all the sports

Tennis and basketball, all day on the courts

I went to Orlando to play tennis against the best

I had to put my abilities to the test

The summer is a great time for vacations to the beach

You can find sand dollars and dye them with bleach

Enjoy the summer before school begins

Maybe play some Fortnite and collect all the skins!
